We can identify new market opportunities and prioritize projects through a data-driven collaborative approach to innovation that’s effective, inclusive, and unbiased. To achieve this, we’ll work together to integrate a custom approach that’s aligns with your organizations' development process, unlocking our collective potential for front-end innovation.
Topics
For each study, we meet with stakeholders like product mangers to start framing the research topics they would like us to explore which could include anything from broad general topics about a market or region, to specific ones about a component or feature.
First, define as broad of research topics as possible:
“We want to better understand what [user x] wants when doing [activity y] so we can develop solutions to meet those needs.”
Framing topics around what has yet to be understood sets up a good foundation for user research.
Avoid limitations, such as a specific technology or an assumed need:
“We would like to use [technology x] to enable users to do [activity y] to meet their needs.”
Committing to technology or assuming solutions prior to user research can limit scope too early or apply bias.
These topics set the focus for steps ahead like recruiting users, and preparing interview questions.
