Goals
Concept Exploration
A variety of rideable wagons concepts with multipurpose utility for children of different ages were explored. While softer parts are safer for very young children, these molded plastic options were deemed less likely to achieve the project’s durability goal.
Selected Theme
The theme chosen below for children ages 3-6 embodied values aligned most with user interview trends. The design, featuring a geared chain drive and stainless steel construction is easier to petal, stronger and more durable, increasing its payload and towing capabilities which enables kids to be more self-reliant.
